President

Matthew Smith

Matt joined the Track Utilities family as the President on November 12, 2021. Prior to this, Matt held the role of Executive Vice President of Operations & Safety and Quality Training (SQT) at Peak. He has had a diverse career in Construction & Safety spanning a broad range of industries that includes utility construction, industrial manufacturing, department of defense, and residential construction. He brings a wealth of experience to Track that includes Safety & Quality program development, operational improvements, team leadership and motivation, corporate policy development and risk management.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology, a Specialist certification in Safety and Health in Oil and Gas, and is an eight year veteran of the US army.

Vice President of Operations

Anthony (Tony) Cameron

Tony joined Track in 2021 with over 35 years of experience in the Power Industry after starting his career as an Overhead Lineman. He has held leadership roles in Construction, Work Control, Project Management, Training, and Safety in T&D and Fossil Generation. Tony brings a wealth of experience to the team in Incident Command, Tap Root, Human performance, Emergency Response, Training, Safety, and Error Free Execution of Work. He promotes a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.

Director of Safety Quality and Training (SQT)

Nate Svetich

Nate joined Track in 2017. Prior to joining Track, he logged 13 years of experience in Risk Management and Claims Management for the public sector. He has overseen a variety of property and liability claims including wrongful death, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, and law enforcement excessive force.

He holds his Associates in Claims designation as well as his Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Technology and Associate of Applied Science in On-Site Power Generation Technology. As a member of The Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network (USOLN), he also holds a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) designation.

Controller

Jeff Smith

Jeff joined Track Utilities in January of 2022.  He has 23 years of experience in corporate accounting across a wide range of industries, from healthcare to modular construction to high tech manufacturing.  His wide-ranging experience includes working for a small family-owned business to several startup companies (joint venture and PE funded) to a large publicly traded manufacturing company.  His experience includes mergers, acquisitions, turnarounds, and start-up operations. 

He has extensive experience in system implementation and improvements.  Jeff holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from Boise State University.

Senior Director of Telecom Operations

Steve Long

Joined Track Utilities in 2021 with over 40 years in the telecom industry after starting his career as a technician for GTE in Southern California. Over the years he has held Leadership roles in Operations, Construction, Project Management, and Engineering. Steve brings vast knowledge and experience to the organization in Safety, Operational control, training, Project negotiation, and the ability to mentor future leaders.

Steve’s great grandparents started in the industry for Santa Monica Telephone and Telegraph back in 1913. His grandfather started with Associated Telephone which was the parent company for GTE in 1921. he is the fourth generation of his family to have a career in telecom.
