President

Rob Griffith

Mr. Griffith joined Track in 2019 as our President. He came from CenturyLink where he had responsibility for Local Network Engineering and Construction for the West (WA/OR/NV/UT/AZ/CO). Prior to this position, he had Installation and Maintenance, Central Office and Planning/Engineering/Construction for Oregon and Idaho. He was with Qwest/CenturyLink for 19 years in total.

Previously, he owned and ran a small business designing and building networks for small business'. Prior to this, he was in the Air Force for 12 years.

 

Sr. Director of Business Transformation

Bobbi Hjort 

Ms. Hjort joined Track in 2019 as the Sr. Director of Business Transformation. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and MBA from City University. She has over 41 years of experience in the communications field, most recently with CenturyLink, for Local Network Engineering and Construction for the West (WA/OR/NV/UT/AZ/CO).  She has extensive experience managing budget initiatives, process improvement, training, data analytics, and leading an Operations support team.  

 

Vice President, Power Division

John Hilton

Mr. Hilton joined Track in 2002 as the Company’s 3rd employee and has over 20 years of electric utility construction experience.  Mr. Hilton’s experience has evolved and grown from being an operator to having full P&L responsibility for the Company’s electric power, joint utility trench and boring operations.  Mr. Hilton maintains the primary strategic relationship with Idaho Power.

General Manager of Engineering

Sam Farhat

Mr. Farhat joined Track in 2019 with 26 years of experience in the Telecom and Power Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University. After college, Mr. Farhat spent some time in Power as a junior transmission/distribution engineer in the Midwest; followed by 24 years in Telecom with greater than 20 years at CenturyLink in leadership positions managing & directing multiple states and functions (Engineering, Planning, Construction, and Installation & Maintenance). He has extensive background managing capital & expense budgets, large scale initiatives, building relationships and partnerships, and delivering quality service on time to all customers.

 

Controller

Steve Nett

Mr. Nett joined Track in 2017 and brings over 25 years of accounting and administrative management experience.  He started his career with Arthur Andersen and has held various positions with companies ranging from private equity backed startups to Fortune 200 companies, most recently as the Senior Director managing the internal audit department for Jabil Inc.

Mr. Nett graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Accounting and is a licensed CPA in both Idaho and Oregon.

 

Human Resources Manager

Lisa Friedman

Ms. Friedman joined Track in 2018 and brings over 25 years of Human Resources experience with 15 years of Management experience. She started her career with Convergys call center in Arizona and has worked in various fields such as Manufacturing, multiple start-ups and international transportation and logistics.

Ms. Friedman graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. degree.

Manager of Safety Quality and Training (SQT)

Nate Svetich

Mr. Svetich joined Track in 2017. Prior to joining Track, he logged 13 years of experience in Risk Management and Claims Management for the public sector. He has overseen a variety of property and liability claims including wrongful death, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, and law enforcement excessive force.

Nate holds his Associates in Claims designation as well as his Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Technology and Associate of Applied Science in On-Site Power Generation Technology. As a member of The Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network (USOLN), he also holds a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) designation.

 

Fleet Manager

Joe Barbera

Joe joined Track in July 2017. He Graduated from Boise State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He worked in the service department in PowerSports dealerships for 5 years at Carl?s Cycle Sales and Moto Tech. From there, He worked for Field-Logic as a regional rep analyzing and reviewing risk with automotive and PowerSports dealership for almost 4 years. Before coming to Track Utilities, he worked for BMC West as their Division Fleet & Logistics Manager covering the Western United States Division for almost 3 years.
