MERIDIAN, ID – Track Utilities LLC (the “Company” or “Track”) announced today James (“Jim”) Baumgardner has been appointed Chief Executive Officer effective September 15, 2014. Reporting to the Company’s Board of Directors, Mr. Baumgardner will be responsible for the overall performance of the Company.

“We are very excited to have Jim joining the Track Utilities team,” stated President and Founder Shane Mace, concluding “He brings an outstanding combination of financial, strategic, and business experience to the company. He will play a critical role as we continue to grow and scale our business.”

Mr. Mace will continue to be actively involved in developing the Company’s strategic plan, identifying acquisition targets, and expanding customer relationships. Both Mr. Mace and Mr. Baumgardner will serve on the Track Utilities LLC Board of Directors.

“I am very excited to join the Track Utilities team and believe the Company is uniquely positioned to capitalize on a range of growth opportunities which will allow it be one of the leading infrastructure services provider in the United States,” stated Mr. Baumgardner.

From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Baumgardner served in various roles including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer with Boise-based US Ecology, Inc. From 1999 to 2006, Mr. Baumgardner served as US Ecology’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Baumgardner has previously held executive positions as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Vice President with several other firms. Mr. Baumgardner holds an MBA and BS from Oregon State University where he was a two-time All American wrestler and is currently a member of the Oregon State University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Track provides mission-critical electric and telecommunications infrastructure services in the Northwest and Intermountain West through its skilled labor force of over 200 employees. Track has deep relationships with the major electric utilities and telecom providers in its territory and is unique in its ability to offer customers a full suite of aerial telecom, underground telecom, overhead electric, underground electric, joint utility trenching, and directional drilling services. The Company’s services include a variety of repair, maintenance, upgrade, and installation services supporting its customers’ on-going and new construction activities. Track is headquartered in Meridian, ID, with regional offices in Chubbuck, ID, Jerome, ID, Idaho Falls, ID, Libby, MT, and Garden City, KS. Track is owned in partnership with management by CIVC Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
